Contract drivers and gig fleets lose money twice: unlogged miles at tax time, and undocumented wait time on the job. Existing trackers either drain the phone, stop recording when the screen locks, or produce exports an accountant cannot defend. Admins running crews had no live picture of who was moving and who was parked.
We shipped a driver app that records background GPS breadcrumbs with the screen off and the phone pocketed, timestamping every mile into an IRS-defensible trail — plus an admin console with a live map, idle and stopped alerts that fire after eight minutes, and one-click CSV/PDF exports by day, week, month or year. Route building accepts typed, pasted, OCR-scanned or spoken addresses, verifies each one and re-orders the run for the fastest path before the driver leaves the lot.
One system now covers both sides of the relationship: drivers get Schedule C-ready reports without touching a spreadsheet, and admins see idle time as documented hours instead of lost time. Built for FedEx, Amazon Flex, Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart and contract fleets.
