Challenge

Tactical Hydro Node builds solar-powered purification and desalination units one at a time for field operators, and the buyers are unusual: procurement officers and operators who care about gallons per hour, salt rejection rates and chassis weight — not marketing copy. There was no way to compare the four system lines, no accessory loadout, and no clean path to a procurement brief.

Solution

We designed and built the entire storefront around a "system matrix" instead of a product grid: every unit is presented as a spec record with flow rate, filtration stages, solar draw and reserve capacity, cross-linked to a compare view. Mission-profile entry points route buyers to the right line — freshwater field, solar autonomy, DeepSalt desalination, or support loadout. A cart doubles as a loadout builder, and the contact path produces a procurement brief request rather than a generic lead form. The near-black tactical interface, mono typography and amber signal accent were built to read like a field record.

Result

The catalog now carries four system lines and their variants in one comparable structure, with live spec data (294 GPH peak flow, 580 gal per 24-hour solar cycle, 34 lb chassis, 99.4% salt rejection) surfaced at the top of every relevant page. Operators can size a system and request a procurement brief in a single session.
